You can’t see very well, but its hailing ALOT and a rumble of thunder just shook the house! It was like a mini earthquake
I have recently changed the layout of Follow*Sound.co.uk. This is the first step into taking control of the Networked part of my life.
I have been bogged down with coursework in April and May, then exam revision at the end of May and July. Now with only 1 exam left (its a resit because I only got a B incited of an A), I have hit somewhat of a wall. For the first time, this year really, I have no revision or c/work to do. Laura Eastwood and Myself, along with Nate(he’s shy so that’s all I’ll say) have been creating exiting video projects, which could or could not get us sued out of existence, anyhow its something to do.
Then the other day I remembered a Diggnation episode (can’t remember the number, diggnation is EPIC BTW), where Alex talks about the .tv domains possibly going away because the island is sinking, and he talked about neglecting his site, I felt that I had been neglecting this blog and my social network life in general.
Alex said that it would be more worthwhile, because of the abundance of social networks, to have your main homepage (followsound.co.uk) just say ‘THIS is me and HERE and HERE are where you can find me’. I agree with him totally, Twitter and Friendfeed have become my blog because I have a simple mind that I only thinks in short (around) 140 character segments plus I love the instantaneous ability of the internet. I took the above and moved this blog to http://followsound.co.uk/blog and made a very meta and stylish homepage (at least I think so) that has all the relevant social networks and blogs on it.
I am also in the process of having a HUGE Twitter and Facebook clear out, unfriending anyone who I don’t find interesting and those people who aren’t interesting and don’t follow back, have got the chop :). (In the nicest way possible!)
I also took some tips from a segment that Natalie Del Conte did on the early show? (I have no clue of UK morning shows let alone American ones), anyway she talked about how to mange you inbox(es). So I deleted 3 years of GMail messages (which was surprisingly only 127MB) plus all the other emails got a spring clean (wow I had some junk) and I started a fresh which I am going to keep on top of by organizing and actually deleting things!
So there the past 6 months (and in some cases 3 years!) of neglect have finally been cleared out and organized!
Writing in Sarah’s leaving book, singing rehab (don’t ask) and I just came back from finishing my media exam, so I’m quite happy!

In The Guild; Season One, Cyd Serman, (a.k.a Codex) played by Felicia, has hit rock bottom. However after a fellow player and guild member, “Zaboo” (Sandeep Parikh), mistakes their in-game ‘winkies’ for real life flirtation, he shows up on her doorstep. Codex brings all the members of her online guild face-to-face - with embarasingly awkward results. Picking up where Season One left off, Season Two finds Codex evicted, after an embarrassingly episode with Zaboo’s mother, and Zaboo shows no signs of giving up on their ‘romance’. As Codex struggles to deal with her issues and advise her ‘Guildies’ on their lives, neighbor shows an interest in Codex. To add to the drama (as if there wasn’t enough) the game’s server is unexpectedly shut down at the end of the series!
All 6 million of us tried-and-true fans, are certainly waiting with baited breath for Season 3!
Well I finally added FollowSound to my wordpress iPhone app thing, and now that I finally have a better hang, (only took 2 years), of the rediculous iPhone keyboard, I have decided to write more live/spontaneous posts. Personal blog goes personal :). I’m such a linguist!. So sat here with Nate who keeps hitting my phone with his (I dunno no either).

Got my hair cut, then it rained, AS I WAS WALKING OUT OF THE HAIRDRESSERS! The coke bottles also wanted to make an appearance.
We’ve seen minor teardowns of the DSi, now iFixit has gone for the full demolition, and torn the thing completely apart.
They found that the new processor has twice the power as the old DS Lite and the RAM has also been doubled. The battery is smaller at 840mAh, its not going to be a 10 hour road trip boredom solver.

Most people probably don’t care too much about the discontinuation of the $99 iPhone Bluetooth headset. A user from MacRumors forum posted that the Online Store had a “discontinued” notice on the headset.
When the product first came out it had good reviews on most sites, but people don’t seem to be keen on it. Buyers said that they liked the design and quality but where put off with the sound quality and battery life performance.
Hopefully this product being discontinued, indicates that Apple are planning to release their own stereo bluetooth headset.
Are Apple really going to be able to compete with the current selection of headsets? Or are they going to go down the same route again? Comment below with your thoughts.
